“Mrs. Human, help, the sun is attacking me.”
“No, Tabby, you just happen to be sitting where it is shining.”
“Rubbish, you are on the side of the sun. I was sitting here having a quiet paw wash and suddenly it arrive. I was the victim of direct exposure. Look at my eyes, they had no chance, they have dwindle into two slits.”
“Of course Tabby. That is natural for a feline, your eyes adapt to the amount of light they see.”
“Stop making excuses Mrs. Human, I must find another place where the sun cannot get me.”
“The sun will soon go again, look a cloud is now covering it.”
“You mean the clouds are the rescue team. Perhaps you could collect some clouds. The next time the sun attacks you could release them to kill the sun.”
“That is not possible Tabby, and not necessary. The sun disappears during the night. and visits another part of the world.”
“You see there is no escape.”
“Where are you going Tabby?”
“Under the bed, the sun will not find me there. Do you think the sky could fall on my head like it did to chicken licken.”
“That is just a story Tabby, Chicken Licken survived.”
“That was because chicken licken hid under the bed.”
“Tabby I think your imagination is running away with you.”
“Then kill it, before my imagination runs too far away and you cannot find me afterwards. I have an appointment with a bowl of tuna fish.”
“Of course Tabby.”
I’ve often suspected cats of having a wild imagination…

Such a wonderful use of your great imagination, Tabby. I think Mrs Human almost believed you. She does not realize how sharp you are.
